Our history
- 1994
Thompson begins operations in Brazil, following Honda's expansion in the country.
- 2000
Entry into the agribusiness and petrochemical sectors. First edition of the Thompson Consultant Training programme.
- 2008
Entry into the technology market and operations across Brazil.
- 2014
Launch of the services unit responsible for BPO projects.
- 2015
Launch of Thompson Technology and Thompson Transition Management.
- 2016
Transition management projects with French, Italian and Swiss companies. The BPO unit doubles in size.
- 2017
Launch of the w-TMH SaaS workflow, adopted in shared service centre projects.
- 2019
Partnership with Axcel Partners for transition management projects.
- 2021
Thompson Digital is launched, bringing automotive-industry efficiency methods to other sectors.
- 2023
New building for the BPO unit, with more than 150 professionals. Microsoft partnership for Power Platform.
- Today
Thompson Europe opens the group's European office in Lisbon.
Presence in Portugal
Thompson Europe is the group's commercial office in Europe: client relationship, proposals, contracts and project follow-up are handled in Lisbon, together with Thompson's teams in Brazil and local partners.
